THE SIBLINGS AND COUSINS

I would to share a story about my brothers and siblings on my father's family side. Here we go. My father have 3 sisters and he is the oldest. My father(my family) have 3 kids. Me and my 2 big brothers. Mak Ngah(second child) have 2 daughters same goes with Mak Da(3rd child) and Mak Cu(4th child) have 1 daughter and 1 son. So, we, cousins love to hang out when our family gathered. As all of us had grown up, some of us went overseas, study overseas, went to universities and there is also who will get married soon. So, it hardly for us to gather back like we used too. I love them all !!

There's Kak Nadia and Kak Najwa. On the right side is Kak Najwa currently now in Willoughby, Ohio. Kak Nadia currently in New York.. working. Last time i saw them when Mak Cu did a open house last year. They were funny though. They didnt really understand malay's language because they've been at the overseas since kindergarten. So, i have to speak english with him. No sweat. ;p

Haaaaaa. This is my big brother and the oldest Sheikh Muhammad Nur Hayyu. He's very protective. This picture taken when Mak Ngah did open-house celebrating Raya. He's 24. Single maybe. I dont really know. Hahaha. He's very brainy. He know all types of cars (sports car especiall) because he's really updated to it. He always buy a car magazines( hoping a ferrari would sell in Rm 500000 maybe. ;p) He always poke and make a fun of me when we were kids. I did a lot of crying though. =_=

This is my dad's so-called village. ;p Located at Bentong, Pahang. This is the house that brings so much memories me and cousins and all. I oftenly celebrate Raya at this house and lots of people used to come to this house. Kids from the neighbourhood also came. (DUIT RAYA of course).
My cousin Momin used to play golf infront of this house and accidentally hit the golf ball and crash the window infront of the house. HAHAHA. It was hilarious!! Then he throw the golf stick(i guess) and acted like nothing happen and ran quickly inside the house then laughed. aiiiyaaa.

Im not really sure at what year this picture was taken. Maybe in 2000. There you see our innocent faces. My oldest brother Hayyu there standing a big chubby boy. Amazingly, he got thin now.Kak Ica and Kak Munirah, my second brother Qayyum sat at the rock. This picture was taken when our families have a trip to Indonesia. We went to our grandmother's village that was in Kerinchi, Indonesia. All we eat all day was RICE and RICE. It was a GREAT TRIP EVER with them. Now, we're planning to go to Genting but wait until my cousin currently now studying at Indonesia (Momin) come back to Malaysia. Im so excited !! xD

Okay. This picture was taken during Hari Raya season at our grandmother's sister's house(Wan Cu) We went to visit her before we went back home. She got a really comfort chair there. Seriously. She lives there with her husband and a maid. What can i say about that time was.. we were all watching television, ate some kuih , did a little of talk then shoot back home. WE WERE FULLED. ;p

I guess this is taken the day our family gathered to do kenduri arwah. There's my brother on the left side (Qayyum) and my cousin (Momin) played PSP. Boys. Games are their nature. ;p You know, they were screaming and laughing hysterically just because they won FIFA Soccer game. Like i said before.. boys. :)

This picture was edited by my very own cousin Husna Afiqah. Credit to her. :P

There goes Kak Ica and Abg Qayyum. We ate at the restaurant of SUP GEARBOX(if im not mistaken) We got bored, hungry... then my brother .. "lets go outside and have some dinner." We were like... "Great. Lets go !!"

The foods are great not to forget the price also. But, its worth it. :)

BAND CAMP 2009 (DUNGUN, TERENGGANU)

I've been assigned to teach juniors of Jengka's and Dungun's band. The reason my senior did this because they want us to experience and learn all by ourselves how to manage a marching band. Marching band high need in discipline, commitment, interest in music and most importantly TEAMWORK. While everyone enjoying their holiday, me and my band members put our commitment on teaching our juniors how to play the instruments and know the musics for over a week at UITM DUNGUN. We taught them to learn and love our MARCHING BAND a.k.a THE RED MAVERICKS.

This picture was taken at our last day at the camp. Everyone were so excited to go home but at the same time we were sad enough to leave Dungun and our new friends there. We laughed. cried, hugged our friends and took a lot.. i mean really A LOT of pictures with everybody. This picture will always be in my mind. :)

Okay. These are the 13 commanders that had been assigned to complete our task to teach and handle the juniors. (Standing from left) Zuheir, Anas, Azim, Afiq, Saidi. (Sit from left) Ain, Rynn, Wawa, Me, Daus, Ezani, Bella, Adha.
I've got such a lot of happy and sad memories with all of them. We've been together in this band since 2008. All the shows that we had performed, we did it in professional as a team. If there is a problem, these are the people i would refer to. They were amazingly good, fun, discipline in doing their responsibility. Back at the camp, we got a lots of problem as in problem in juniors, the instrument got problem, the time management and so on. They did not give up , still, they deal it good. So, what can i say.. they bring a band spirit towards me.

Back then, Dungun experienced a bad heavy-rain that sort of interupt our programme. Supposed that these students have to play the instrument outside of this classroom. Unfortunately, there were rain and the instrument cannot be exposed by rain because it my causes the instrument a damage(The instrument are all RM1000 above). As you can see, these juniors put all of their effort to played each of instrument that have been given to the them. In this picture, it showed a TRUMPET. They were called TRUMPETERS. It was not easy to play this instrument and good at it in one day. It took me a month to play but not well enough. Imagine that !! Its all about how you put your mouth and breathing all together. It was HARD.

What you see the instrument in this picture is what we called FLUTE. It used a lot of breathing and how do you blow it. Still, you may see it easy to play it, but believe me. It wasn't easy. =.=" .
Azim there tried his very best to explain to that junior who hold flute on how the chords and notes should be sound. He is very patient person. Eventhough it took several hours to taught the junior, he still maintain his anger. Well done Azim !! :) Right next to the junior is Wawa, she also played Flute. I dont really know what was she thinking that time. All I know is she is seriously EXHAUSTED. haha

It was morning, rainy, COLD! I think it was 7 am. We did a simple physical exercise and did a fun activities as well before we have some breakfast. Such as BOOM2, 1x2 and so on. We knew that everyone were sleepy, so we added some fun activities to brighten them up. It was fun and we had a lot of laughed. Saidi (cream sweater lead this morning activity) gave a brief talked about that day activities and told simple instructions to them.

This is was the best moment of all for those juniors. This is when they experienced their first performance infront all the VIP's of UITM Dungun and Kesatria. They were great !! They look confident and fun in the performance. This was the very proud and best moment for me as well because i had teach them with all my best and fully commitment. As i looked at them, I felt proud because what they performed was my effort. :D

That red shirt is Anas. He lead this Upper-Brass that include trumpet, trombone and so on. Anas had lost his voice due to screaming and all. Poor Anas. But that doesnt stop him to lead this group. Instead of using his voice, he gave instructions by using his hands. The juniors understands. We used to see orchestra and all. They dont use voice to give instructions, but used their hands. Same as this.

"Malam Kebudayaan" is a MUST programme in a camp. This showed us meeting and discussed what are we going to perform. We decided to 2 songs. I didnt remember the title. -_-. We dance, sang an all. It was fun. The performance for "Malam Kebudayaan" went well. :)

This was a study session. How challenging it was. It was raining, cold will cause a SLEEPY disease. hehehe. So, anyone who caught sleeping, we, commanders will take a picture of those sleepy head and exposed it at the very last day of camp. HAHA. They were taught on recognizing the notes and chords. Learn the instruments and all. Well, it was sleepy, theory class of course. At the end, they managed to control from sleeping. Wow. Good for them. Im proud of you kids !! :)

I dont know what brings us up to took this kind of picture. HAHA. But, the picture is great, right? It was a pictures of commanders and juniors. haa. They were funny especially that boy who held that trumpet(tiaw). He's CRAZY. haha

We were on our way to Kuantan to have some lunch first before go back to Jengka. Well, as you can see here all the weird faces they showed, actually, they were singing emotionally.haha. Oh my. How happy they were. :) The driver bus open a karaoke. We as a teenagers, not letting go the chances to sing whatever songs that the driver bus into it. Amazingly, they were singing all the what we called "rock kapak" songs. Whose that dont know the songs, just sang it a same rythm but use their own lyrics ! hahaha.

HAAA. This is all my very own "army". Second row is what we called clarineters they played clarinet which i also played it. Certain people to called it "duck sound" because when the instrument doesnt be play well, it will bring out a duck sounds. It was ANNOYING.

Now, im here at Melaka i miss my band a LOT!! All the memories with them will not be forget.
Thank you guys . :)

THE 90'S MOVIES

I am a movie-follower. Most of my money i spent it in buying dvd's and movies tickets at the cinema. Actually, it was my dad that taught me in watching all these movies. So, i kind a into english movies than malay's or indians and all. Well, it improves my english though. :) So, its not all about the entertainment but we can learn english. These are the movies that used to be my favourite back when i was a kid. >.< EDWARD SCISSORHANDS

MEN IN BLACK (MIB)

Jones plays Agent Kay, a member of the Immigration and Naturalization Service’s “Division 6.” Better known as the Men in Black, Division 6 is charged with keeping tabs on the 1,500 or so interplanetary visitors who have made Earth their vacation or employment destination. Kay zaps the streetwise officer with a memory-wiping “Neuralyzer,” but the grizzled agent thinks James just might have the right stuff for the MiB corps.

James passes his MiB test and joins up, leaving behind his former life and identity and taking the new code name Agent Jay.

Cryptic messages appear on the cloudy green centerpiece, Alan gets sucked into the board.

Twenty-six years later, orphaned kids Judy and Peter Shepherd move in with their Aunt Nora, who lives in the old Parrish place. The beating of drums draws Judy and Peter up to the attic, where they discover the dusty Jumanji board. Judy and Peter start their own game, unleashing wild jungle creatures into the old house. On Peter’s turn, Alan is released from his imprisonment, now grown into a shaggy survivor (Robin Williams). Together, the three realize the only way to undo the damage done is to finish the game.

HONEY, I BLEW UP THE KID

Wayne sold his invention to a large conglomerate owned by greedy businessman Charles Hendrickson. Wayne now works for Hendrickson, “perfecting” the device at a lab near the family’s new suburban Las Vegas home. Son Nick, now a teenager, is still a budding genius like his father, and Wayne takes Nick and toddler Adam to the lab to see his work. The ray is being re-engineered to grow rather than shrink, and Wayne unwisely decides to test the device on Adam’s stuffed bunny. Naturally, little Adam wants his toy back, and he ends up in the path of the ray.

At first, it looks like the tot may be okay, but the ray has a curious side effect: every time Adam comes near an electromagnetic field, he grows. Tiny Adam turns into seven-foot Adam turns into fourteen foot Adam. Hendrickson kidnaps the boy to take him back to the lab, but the route takes them under high-tension electrical lines, and soon Adam is a Godzilla-sized terror, with Nick and babysitter/girlfriend Mandy stuck in the kid’s oversized overalls pocket. Wayne can zap Adam back to baby size, but the boy has to sit still for the ray to work, and that ain’t gonna happen.

HOME ALONE

Culkin plays Kevin, the picked-on runt of the McCallister clan. It’s Christmas time, and the extended family (fifteen members in all) is planning a jaunt to Paris. When Kevin gets blamed for a little sibling rivalry, his punishment is a night upstairs in the attic. After a series of delays and mix-ups, the youngster accidentally gets left (you guessed it) home alone while his family makes the frantic trip to the airport. Not until the plane is in the air does Mrs. McCallister realize her boy got left behind, sending her off on a frantic and problem-filled journey home.

Meanwhile, thinking he’s made his family disappear, Kevin uses his newfound freedom to do everything he shouldn’t watch trashy movies, eat junk food, sled down the staircase, etc. When the novelty wears off, Kevin realizes he’s now the young man of the house and dutifully tends to the cooking, cleaning and shopping. This new sense of responsibility is put to the ultimate test when a pair of bumbling crooks make an assault on the McCallister home, with only Kevin’s ingenuity and an arsenal of booby traps as a defense.

TARZAN

George crash-landed in the fictional African nation of Buvuku as a toddler, where he was adopted by an ape named Ape. Now grown (but not any brighter), George and the well-bred Ape spend their carefree days with the rest of their jungle crew. Into this jungle paradise comes Ursula Stanhope, a San Francisco socialite who’s unhappily engaged to Lyle Van de Groot. Ursula is on an expedition into Bukuvu to get away from Lyle, and when George rescues her.

Having grown up around monkeys and such, George has no idea how to win Ursula’s heart (Ape suggests beating his chest, showing his fangs and throwing grass), but he’s sweet and dreamy enough to get by. Meanwhile, Lyle has mounted an expedition of his own, planning to get Ursula back while his poaching henchmen go after Bukuvu’s legendary “white ape.” George and company manage to outwit Lyle’s camp, but George faces an even greater task when Ursula takes him back to San Francisco to meet the family.

THE FLINSTONES

Slate Gravel Company executive Cliff Vandercave plotting with his comely assistant Rosetta Stone to embezzle company funds. Meanwhile, good-hearted lug Fred Flintstone loans money to his best buddy, Barney Rubble, so that Barney and wife Betty can adopt a child. Fred’s wife, Wilma, approves of Fred’s actions, but his bossy mother-in-law, Pearl Slaghoople, thinks he’s a good-for-nothing bum.

Barney pays Fred back with a favor. Both men work for the Slate Gravel Company, and both are forced to take an executive competence exam. Fred isn’t the sharpest stone in the quarry, so Barney switches the two tests. The trick gets Fred promoted, but his first job is to fire Barney, who ended up with Fred’s low score. Cliff and Rosetta use Fred as their executive patsy, getting him to fire all the Slate employees in order to fill their greedy pockets. At first, Fred is too power-happy to notice, but when Barney, Betty and new baby Bamm Bamm get tossed out on the street, the big fella knows its time to take on the crooks.

That’s the story (as penned by more than 30 writers), but that wasn’t what drew most Flintstones fans into the multiplexes. Audiences both young and old came to see a live-action cartoon, and they weren’t disappointed. Every aspect of the famous Flintstones lifestyle—stone and wood cars powered by feet, pigs as garbage disposals, purple dinosaur pet Dino, a wisecracking “Dictabird,” etc.—was remarkably recreated on the screen.

THE DISGUSTING FOODS

Scorpion Soup

Scorpion soup – as its name implies, is a soup made from scorpions. Preparing and eating scorpion soup can be a dangerous task as Wing Li from China recently discovered when he was stung by three as he tried to throw them in the pot. He was making the soup to help ease his rheumatism. Scorpions are eaten in the south of China. They are reared in ‘ranches’, mostly in people’s homes, then sold in the markets. Scorpions have a woody taste and should be eaten whole, except for the tip of the tail

Bat Paste
First, net a bunch of flying mouse, fruit, or fox bats in a remote village.Drop live into a pot of boiling water or milk.Roast to desired doneness.Chop and make into paste with Thai herbs and spices.Bats are part of the native cuisine in Thailand, parts of China, Guam and more, but they are considered notorious disease carriers.

Whole Sheep’s Head

Sheep’s head has been a traditional delicacy served in a number of world regions, including the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. You’ll find smoked versions and recipes for sheep’s head soup, usually presented whole and intact, sometimes with brains, often without (risky to consume). The eyeballs and tongue are particular delicacies.Herein lies the grisly factor in sitting down to a meal of whole sheep’s head.

Casu Marzu

A pecorino cheese and Sardinian specialty, surely wins among most disgusting cheeses of the world. The process of producing casu marzu, aka “maggot cheese,” is considered a process of finely metered fermentation. However regionally traditional the consumption of maggot-laced cheese, it hardly jives with modern food preparation and sanitation mores, therefore the offending cheese is officially illegal.

BALUT

Balut is a fairly common and unassuming street food available in both the Philipines and Vietnam. It has also earned a widespread reputation as one of the all-time grossest ethnic delicacies. Most of the eggs with which Americans are familiar are unfertilized eggs. The balut, though are fertilized duck eggs, incubated or allowed to grow invitro for a certain length of time, usually a few weeks. Peel back the shell and along with a typical soft-boiled eggy interior is also the small inert body of a fetal duck—small bones, feathers, beak and all, some more developed than others. Most accounts suggest slurping it right from the shell with a pinch of salt.

THE BEST HOUSES

OKAY. WHAT ATTRACT ME TO DO THIS ARTICLE IS BECAUSE THE HOUSES' DESIGN ARE SO AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. IT SHOWED HOW CREATIVE THE ARCHITECTS WERE IN DESIGNING THESE HOUSES. SO, NOW LETS SEE THE BEST HOUSES DESIGN AROUND THE WORLD. :)

Balsa Dome Tea Houses on Display in London

This unusual ultra modern architecture homes design is a great architectural project created by Heather and Ivan Morison with a spot of tea on the side. They named this Balsa Wood House with curious name : “I am so sorry. Goodbye.”.

Two geodesic domes take organic shape, clad in Balsa wood and topped with a futuristic, hemispherical skylight that softly and naturally illuminates interiors. Inside, a minimalist, contemporary style lends an atmosphere of rest and relaxation

Briard Green Hybrid Residence by Sander Architects

Whitney Sander, principal architect and founder of the firm, has developed a way of creating residential buildings that is both very green and extremely efficient in terms of construction costs. He calls this Hybrid House: part prefab, all custom ™ as each house is completely customized to each client.Residence for a Briard is a 3,800sf house that is the first example of Hybrid House, the invention of Sander Architects. The location is in Culver City, California , USA and the budget to do this house is $US 500,oo.

Laminata, A House of Glass by Kruunenberg Architecten

As a monument to glass, this house totally redefines the use of glass as a building material. At the same time, despite its most unconventional application of glass, it is not merely an experimental monument but a beautiful functional residence.

The Miesian quality of lightness and transparency so sought after by modernist architects has given way to a solidity and materiality seldom associated with the use of glass. The remarkable feature is the use of laminated glass sheets for external and internal walls, which vary from 10 to an incredible 170 centimeters in thickness.

Urban Cottage Design in New York by David Jay Weiner

Architect David Jay Weiner has projected this contemporary urban cottage design located in Stephentown, New York. The weekend cottage look of expansive glazed facades set in a black wood frame is complemented by the cottage unique, irregular shape, which really stands out among its pastoral, grassy meadow surroundings.
Inside, the tall ceilings of this single-storey, open concept house plan, with floor-to-ceiling windows extending the length of the cottage on both sides, bathe interiors in natural light and enhance its sense of spaciousness. Clerestory windows offer additional illumination from above.

A feeling of relaxation prevails. In contrast to the black exterior, interiors feature a white palette on ceilings, walls and floors, which is punctuated by the colors of nature visible through the all-encompassing windows.

Compact House Design by Andrew Berman Architect

This 850 square feet unique architectural residential project "
Compact House Design" was designed by New York architect Andrew Berman Architect. This small compact homes designed with a writing studio and private library located among the tree in Long Island, New York.

This Compact Homes design is actually more like a tree house than a cottage: Entering the small, high vestibule, one immediately confronts a narrow wood stair leading up to the second-level work space. At the rear of this loftlike expanse, the historian’s desk looks out through a 16-by-7-foot window directly onto a grove of trees with a stream in the near distance.
